A Few Grant Guidelines

We prefer . . .

  • Opportunities where a small course correction will yield an outsized result.
  • Well-timed and thoughtful funding with outsized return.
  • Opportunities that focus on crisis inflection points.
  • To have a direct, immediate and quantifiable impact on the issues we target.
  • To help well-managed organizations who are under-recognized.
  • To create a long-term partnership with those organisations we help rather than responding to one-off fundraising campaigns.
  • That organisations remain under a fifteen percent operational overhead guideline.
  • To resist investing in capital assets or operating overhead unless it can be demonstrated that it solves the primary Trust criteria.

As a private family philanthropic trust, we are unable to field unsolicited inquiries and do not accept donations. We consider grants to other organisations worldwide providing there is a USA-based 501 (c) 3 as a funding conduit.  We do not fund operating overhead nor make grants to individuals.
