Our Mission

KF Philanthropic Trust was founded on a simple idea: that well-timed money, given to the right people at the right moment, can change an outcome that nothing else would have changed.

We are not a large foundation. We do not try to cover ground. We look for the specific moments where a focused grant will make a real difference — to an organisation, a research programme, or a community — and we back those moments with conviction.

Our primary focus is the early diagnosis and care of Lewy Body Dementia and other rare dementias, supported through the Raymond E. Kassar Research Fund at the University of Florida. Beyond that, we support a small number of organisations each year in the United States and abroad, chosen for the quality of their work and the immediacy of their impact.

All grants are administered through the National Philanthropic Trust. We require a US-based 501(c)3 as a funding conduit for all giving, including international grants. We do not fund operating overhead or make grants to individuals.
